Division 3 - Triumph Tulips

Triumph tulips (Division 3) are the largest tulip group and among the most popular. Triumph tulips typically feature a single, cup-shaped flower made of rounded tepals on a sturdy stem.
They flower in April and are sometimes sold as mid-season tulips. They are quite similar to Single Earlies (Division 1), but the stems are longer, normally 18-20" (45-50 cm) tall. As well as the solid yellows, reds, pinks, purples, and whites, there are bi-colored and patterned flowers in this group.
Triumph tulips are classic, renowned for their compact, sturdy appearance, and simple single flower shape. If you want huge flowers head over to the Darwin Hybrids (Division 4) as Triumphs are somewhat daintier—but, by no means, dainty.
More cultivars of Triumph tulips are available than of any other division. Below are some of the most popular, but it is far from an exhaustive list!
